Account Deletion

You can ask us to delete your Omen account at any time, from inside the app. This page explains where to find the request and what happens to your data afterwards.

Request deletion in the app

Open the Omen app and go to:

Profile → Settings → Request account deletion

Settings is the gear icon at the top of your Profile tab. “Request account deletion” is the last item on that screen. Confirming the prompt submits the request; nothing is deleted until you confirm.

What happens next

Your public profile is hidden as soon as the request is submitted, so other people can no longer find or follow you. We then delete your account and the personal data held with it.

  • Deleted: your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar and any linked social account), your follows and followers, your watchlist, your saved preferences, and the login identity that signs you in.
  • Kept for a limited time: records we are required to keep to meet legal, accounting, security and anti-fraud obligations. These are held only for as long as the law requires and are then deleted.
  • Cannot be deleted: anything recorded on a public blockchain, such as wallet addresses and transactions. That data is published by the network, not by us, and no one can remove it.

Your wallet and your funds

Omen is non-custodial. Deleting your account does not move, transfer or delete any assets in your wallet, and it does not delete the wallet itself. Make sure you still have access to your wallet, and move out anything you want to keep, before you request deletion.

If you cannot use the app

If you have lost access to the app, email us at contact@getomen.xyz from the address linked to your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We may need to verify your identity before we act on the request.

Waitlist emails

If you joined the waitlist but never created an account, email contact@getomen.xyz and we will remove your address from the list.
